Tara Davis
Flow by Tara is owned and operated by Tara Michelle Davis of Charlotte, NC. Tara has been designing since she was a child. First she started sewing beautiful dresses for her Barbie Doll and now she is making dresses for grown and sophisticated women.
By the time she turned 20, she attended The Art Institute of Atlanta to seriously persue a career in Fashion Design, but cut her education short to start a family. Although she stopped her education, nothing could stop her childhood passion. As time passed, her ambition and creative style grew causing her to start designing again.
2002 began a new era in her life. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Pfeiffer University and learned how to run a business.
Now armed with knowledge, loaded with creativity and motivated by her best friend and family, a rusty but quite innovative designer produced six original pieces for a local fashion show where she recieved rave reviews.
The positive reaction and family support only sparked a new approach to an old trade. Flow by Tara was formed in 2003, and has since been seen in numerous fashion shows in the Charlotte area. Tara has loyal repeat customersand is now pushing her designing skills to the next level, as she reaches RTW production and complete MFA in fashion design.
Flow by Tara is strictly a dress collection to be worn, just like Barbie did, for formal functions and social events. Tara loves to work with fabrics that flow and flounce, move and bounce. The more it glides the more inspired she is. These are dresses for the sophisticated woman who exudes dignity and class. SHIPPING
•Shipping & handling costs are determined by the dollar amount of your order before taxes
•Delivery dates apply to in-stock items only
•We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed after 12:00 noon (CST) Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be processed Monday
• Made to order purchases take 2 weeks. In stock purchases takes 2 days to process
•Under 158.00 = 10.00 shipping
•158.00 to 338 = 20.00 shipping
•338.00 and up = 30.00 shipping
U.S. SHIPPING QUESTIONS
When will my order be shipped?
It usually takes about one business day for us to process your order. As soon as weve verified all of your information, your order will ship and well send you a shipping confirmation email
When will my order arrive?
If youve selected standard shipping for in stock items, youll receive your order 3-5 business days after it ships. If youd like your order sooner, we can expedite your shipping for an additional charge. (Please see shipping table above.) Expedited shipping is not available for P.O. Boxes or deliveries to Alaska or Hawaii. Please note: standard shipping to these locations may take a bit longer.
Can I check the status of my order?
Which shipping carrier will deliver my package?
Depending on where you live and which shipping method you chose, we will chose from a variety of carriers to ensure you receive your order as soon as possible. Shipments to P.O. Boxes will be sent via USPS.
Im not going to be home to sign for my package. Is that ok?
Please note that all orders over $400 require a signature upon delivery.
Do you offer weekend delivery?
Some standard delivery orders may arrive on Saturday.

How do gift cards ship?
Gift cards arrive in a stylish presentation box and are shipped free of charge using standard shipping. Unfortunately, express and overnight shipping are not available for gift cards. However, if your order includes merchandise as well as a gift card, you may expedite your shipping method.
OTHER SHIPPING CATEGORIES
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your ONLINE order, please return items (via mail) within 14 days of receipt, Merchandise must be in new condition with tags attached and must be accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment. If you no longer have the packing invoice, you may print a copy from the My Account area.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
*If the return is a result of our error, please email us at Client Services info_flowytaradavis.com and we will issue a credit for the return shipping charges.

You may return your online purchase by mail within 14 days of receipt to comply with the online return policy.
1. Please fill out the enclosed Return Form completely and keep a copy for your records.
2. Securely package the new, unworn item(s) with tags attached along with the completed Return Form. You may use the original box for the return shipment.
3. We recommend sending returns via insured, traceable mail to ensure safe delivery. Flow is not responsible for lost return shipments.

5. The return will be refunded to the original form of payment used for purchase. Allow 2-3 weeks from the shipping date for the account to be credited and 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on the credit card statement.
Exchange Policy
Because merchandise quantities are limited, we strongly recommend that you do not exchange items as it is likely that the item(s) you want will no longer be available. In order to get the item(s) you want as quickly as possible, simply place a new order and return the unwanted item for a refund. When we receive your return, we'll issue a refund.
If the item was sent to you as a gift, the refund will be credited to the original credit card used for the payment. We will make every effort to honor exchange requests provided the merchandise requested is still available. If youd like to make an exchange, list the item(s) you would like to receive on the Return Form included with your order. You will receive an email confirming that we are processing your return, followed by a separate email detailing the availability and/or shipping status of your exchange. Available item(s) will be sent via standard shipping to the shipping address on your invoice. There are no additional shipping & handling charges for exchanges.
Please note that in the event that your exchange requires additional funds, the credit card initially used to purchase your order will be charged the difference. We are not able to accept personal check payments with your return.

How To Measure
Before measuring, be sure to read through these guidelines. Then, refer back to the Size Chart. For the best fit, wear little or no clothing while measuring and use a fabric tape measure. If you dont have a fabric tape measure, use a piece of ribbon or string and line it up against a ruler or yardstick.
BUST
With your arms relaxed at your sides, measure completely around the fullest part of your chest keeping the tape a bit loose.
WAIST
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose. Find the natural crease of you waist by bending to one side.
HIP
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs (approximately 7 8 below your waist).
CENTER BACK TO HEM
Measure from the center, back of your neck down to the hem. The number of inches, to the nearest half-inch, is the center back to hem measurement used for top, jacket, dress and skirt lengths.
